Meet Dr. Erin Winter, Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Erin Winter Flagstaff Naturopath - Winter Wellness

Dr. Erin Winter, a naturopath based in Arizona, has been helping thousands of men and women live life with purpose and passion using the full spectrum of naturopathic medicine.

Struggling with her own debilitating health crisis that was not remedied with conventional medicine, Dr. Winter was introduced to naturopathic medicine as a teenager. Her family decided to try alternative medicine for optimal health.

A local naturopath was able to help her turn her health around in just a few short weeks. Even as a teen, Dr. Winter was amazed and impressed at the power of naturopathic medicine and the knowledge base of her practitioner in promoting the body’s inherent ability to restore and maintain optimal health.

From that point forward she knew she had to pursue a naturopathic medical education to move forward to a career in naturopathy.

In 2008, she received an Exercise Science degree from NAU and then a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2013.

Dr. Winter’s clinical training and experience is grounded in clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

She continues to seek advanced training in nutrition, botanical medicine, and anti-aging medicine. She is also currently a member of the AzNMA.

One of her focus specialties today is hormone optimization. With huge advancements in age-related medicine, she is excited about the relationship between individualized age-balanced hormones and degenerative disease prevention like heart disease, Alzheimer’s, depression, diabetes, osteoporosis, and joint pain and degeneration.

Her primary mission as a naturopathic physician is to help people find their spark and live the life they have always imagined.

When she is not seeing patients you can find her in the mountains with her family or cooking a delicious meal.
