Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is recognized as one of the original systems of medicine offering safe, effective patient-centered care that is a vital part of healthcare in the twenty-first century.

Why see a Naturopathic Doctor?

  • You want a doctor that listens
  • You want an individualized treatment plan
  • You want a doctor that treats the whole person
  • You want treatment options outside the conventional system
  • You want a treatment plan that gets to the root cause of your symptoms

Licensed Naturopathic doctors complete a four year medical program with a minimum of 4100 hours of class and clinical training. They have additional training in clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, homeopathic medicine, physical medicine, and counseling.

In Arizona Naturopathic doctors also study pharmacology and are able to prescribe standard and compounded medications. As primary care physicians we are more than happy to work alongside your medical team to help you get the best care possible!

Naturopathic Principles

The six principles of naturopathic medicine unite NDs across the world:

First Do No Harm: use the least invasive measure to restore health

The Healing Power of Nature: your body has the innate ability to heal

Identify and Treat the Causes: get to the root cause of your illness

Doctor as Teacher: understand your disease processes and treatments

Treat the Whole Person: a holistic approach to optimal health

Prevention: prevent illness with foundational health

If you are ready to find the root cause of your illness and committed to supporting your body’s ability to heal you are in the right place. At Winter Wellness we honor that each body is unique and not defined by a diagnosis. We are committed to creating a plan that works but also achievable to you.

Are you ready to live your life to the fullest?
